Metro Washington DC chapter of SCORE recognizes Strategic Growth Partners LLC with Client of the Year Award

Arlington, VA, May 20, 2010: The Metro Washington DC SCORE Chapter has named Strategic Growth Partners LLC (SGPLLC) of Arlington, VA as its Client of the Year for 2010. Strategic Growth Partners LLC, a management consultancy business, is a leading provider of Federal Bid management and staffing solutions, including Pipeline Optimization, Capture Management, and Proposal Development services. In recognition of Strategic Growth Partners LLC’s success in creating a comprehensive business plan, securing financing, and reaching agreements with several major customers, Mr. Ken Laszczych was honored at SCORE’s annual luncheon reception on May 20, 2010 at the Bobby Van Steakhouse, in Washington, DC.

SCORE is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1964 — volunteer members offer free counseling and training services to entrepreneurs in the formation and growth of small business. Joe Clarke, a volunteer SCORE counselor who works in Arlington was assigned to work with Laszczych. “The development of the business plan was the key success factor and it was due to Joe’s persistence … he helped SGPLLC develop an exceptional business plan,” said Laszczych. He added, “It has helped us identify underserved markets, identify our brand and a market where we could be competitive, so it’s at the heart of our success.”

Clarke emphasizes the importance of creating a comprehensive business plan especially for small businesses. Clarke said of Laszczych’s success “His detailed business plan showed lenders that he had a firm grasp of the situation — his success in getting a line of credit in an extremely tight market is the real proof that business planning does pay off.”
